Hi, I’m Matt Zuniga, founder of Dr. Z’s IVs and your dedicated provider.

I’m a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice and over a decade of hands-on experience in critical and acute care settings—including the ER, ICU, PACU, and as a former U.S. Navy veteran and firefighter. Helping people recover, rehydrate, and regain strength has always been at the heart of my work—and I’ve always had a knack (and a love) for starting IVs.

With Dr. Z’s IVs, my goal is to bring that same high level of clinical care into your home—making hydration and recovery easy, accessible, and personal.

Outside of work, I’m a husband to Nicky Zuniga and proud dad to Atlas and Apollo. And yes, if you've noticed the creative flair in some of the artwork on the site, I also enjoy designing custom Magic: The Gathering cards in my free time. If you're a fan and want your own custom card, just ask—I’d be happy to make one for you.
